She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence B. Thompson and Mattie Murdock Thompson; her brothers, Harold, Bill (Rita), Roland, R. D. and Kermit (Lillie); and her siblings-in-law, Lloyd McCandless and Christene Thompson.
She is survived by: her husband Ernest Harold Ayscue; her daughters, Kim Ayscue Nance (Tommy) of Thomasville, NC and Dana Ayscue Bird (William) of Greensboro, NC; her grandchildren, Matthew Nance, Mattie and Aidan Bird; her siblings, Betty Thompson McCandless of Madison, NC and Ronnie Thompson (Phyllis) of High Point, NC; and her sisters-in-law, Hilda Thompson of Greensboro, NC and Jennie Thompson of Myrtle Beach, SC. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
