It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Henry Diggs (Chapel Hill, North Carolina), who passed away on March 20, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charles Lewis Diggs and Ada Williams Diggs; his siblings, Mary Ward Hunt, Katherine Staunton, Edith Page and Ned Diggs; his wife Norma Norton Diggs of Sioux City, Iowa.; his children, James Henry Diggs III, John Charles Diggs, Fred Edgar Diggs, William Louis Diggs, Jo Anne Park Diggs, Barbara Reeves, Chris Yeager Diggs and Catherine Jean Diggs; his grandchildren, Jamey Anne Croft, Evan Diggs, Brynn Diggs, Galen Diggs, Jonathan Diggs, Katherine Diggs and Timothy Diggs; and his great grandchildren, Riley Croft and Grayson Diggs.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations should be made for the construction of a columbarium at Mt Carmel cemetery.
