She was predeceased by: her parents, Hobert Johnson and Trannie McDuffie Johnson; her husband Ralph Suttles; her daughter Donna Suttles Elkins; and her siblings, James Allen Johnson and Cubie Wrenn.
She is survived by: her children, Frankie Suttles (Donna) of Chapel Hill and Michelle Suttles Brown (Mark) of Chapel Hill.
