With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Brooks Jr. (Chapel Hill, North Carolina), who passed away on January 12, 2019 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Irving Brooks, Sr. and Lillian Harris Brooks; his sisters, Peggy Brooks Hester and Nancy Brooks Langston; his spouse Motsie; his children, John (Ellen) and Marty (Joseph Allen); and his grandson Casey Allen. He was also cherished by one niece, two nephews and many close cousins.
