Colson, III; his stepchildren, Shadonna Simpson-Odom, Arthur Chance Parlow, Cindy Bruhn (Mauricio), Candie Mendez and Carlos Mendez (Karina); his stepgrandchildren, Aidan, Juilan, Josiah, Oliver and Oshyn; his siblings, Desiree Scales, Tyricka Scales, Ann Grant, LaShanda Scales, Darlene Grant, Ieisha Scales, Enell Scales, Herbert Scales and Robert Scales; his aunts and uncles, Savannah Morgan, Mable Burrell, Diane Grant, Deborah Scales, George Scales, Robert Scales, Howard Broadnax, Clarence Grant and Matthew Grant; and his friend Lorenzo Graves. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
