He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Stevens Sr. and Minnie Lee Stevens; and his brother James Earl Stevens (Lizzie). He is survived by: his children, Leander Calvin Stevens Jr., Reginald Lee Stevens, Cedric Shipp (Diana), Towanda of Clinton, NC, Shanese of Clinton, NC and Kiesha Stevens of Clinton, NC; and his sisters, Elizabeth Peterson (Handy), Maggie Smith, Diane Peterson (Bennie), Laura Morrisey (Darius) and Della Bryant.
