She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Monroe Stroud and Cleta Mae Parks Stroud; her husband Dr. Robert DeVane Croom, III; and her brothers, Larry Ray Stroud and Michael Moody Stroud.
She is survived by: her children, Robert DeVane Croom, IV (Susan) and Patricia Croom Halsey (Jason); her grandsons, Robert Jacobsen Croom and Jackson Currie Halsey; her siblings-in-law, Frederick Hailey Croom (Mishoe Brennecke), John McLean Croom (Larissa Boudnikova) and Henrietta Brown Croom; her sibling's children, Elizabeth Bonner Croom, Maria Johnovna Croom, Frederick Hailey Croom, Jr. and Alexander McMillan Croom; and her friend Hector Allen MacDonald.
