He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard "Rick" Craig and Nora Glover Craig; his wives, Ada Mitchell Craig and Nellie Noel Craig; his siblings, Joseph Sr., Wade, Johnnie, Carl, Bill, David, Jimmy, Alice, Sarah, Ida Mae, Nannie, Ethel, Olivia and Susan; and his sons, James Earl and Jeff.
He is survived by: his son Robert Anthony Craig of Chapel Hill, NC; his grandchildren, Larunda, Tiffany, Yachi, K'La, Jasmine, Antonio, Ashley and Dominique; his sister Marth Terrell (Comell) of Pittsboro, NC; his sisters-in-law, Freddie Mae Mitchell and Betty Sue Williams; and his daughter-in-law Laura Craig of Salisbury. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, relatives, and friends.
