With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley Marie Robinson Kilner of Chapel Hill, North Carolina, born in Meriden, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 9, 2025 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Robinson and Louise Robinson (Ludecke); her parents-in-law, Edwin and Bernice Kilner (Parke); and her brother George Robinson.
She is survived by: her husband Raymond A. Kilner; her sister Claudette Porter; her sister-in-law Sandy Robinson; her daughters, Kathy Fussell (Steve), Lynn McClurg (Greg) and Susan Wilkat (Tom); her grandchildren, Kristin Cole (Steven), Tommy Wilkat (Maria), Ashley Wilkat, Rylie McClurg and Carah McClurg; and her great grandchild Khloe Cole.
