She was predeceased by : her parents, Ethel Ferrell Winkler and Leroy A. Winkler, Sr.; her former life partner Carlee Snipes (Dink); her husband Andrew Helton (Andy); her brother Leroy A. Winkler, Jr.; and her nephew Brandon Jenkins.

She is survived by : her children, Dawn Bryant (Greg) and Andrea Broome (Ric); her grandchildren, Christopher Bryant (Joely), Shasta Smith (Chris) and Justin Broome; and her great grandchildren, Carson Bryant, Asher Bryant, Aubrey Smith, Raelyn Smith and Easton Smith.
