It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Marshall of Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on September 27, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Shelby Spong and Doolie Griffith; her husband Maynard Marshall, Jr.; her daughter Dana Marshall Blackson; and her brothers, Will and John Spong.

She is survived by: her granddaughter Shawna Furr.
