She was predeceased by: her husband Patrick Gray Hager, Sr.; her parents, Roxie Viola Green Helms and Bishop Lee Helms; and her brothers, Paul Woodrow Helms, Bishop Lee Helms, Jr. and Roy Rayford "Buck" Helms.
She is survived by: her sisters, Margaret Helms Lipford Bonfield, Martha Alice "Mot" Helms Little and Nancy Helms Wilson; her daughters, Mary Helms Greene, Frances Pauline Helms Turner and Sarah Elizabeth Helms; her grandchildren, Randy LaRoy Hager (Marsha Hocutt), Raeford Lynn Hager (Tamara), Rachel Lee Hager McKenzie (Russell) and Patrick Gray (Rick); and her great grandchildren, Aela and Delilah.
