He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Greer and Nancy Greer; and his daughter Delane Edwards. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Kerns Greer; and his children, Andy Greer (Carol) of Wilmington, Marsha Derberry (Clyde) of Mooresville and Paula Slaughter (Dale) of Huntersville. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
