He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry James Stanley, Sr. and Hattie White Stanley; and his siblings, J. D. Stanley, Marjorie Stanley Cox, Beulah Stanley Robinson, Sallie Mae Stanley Doster, Henry Stanley, Jr., Mabel Stanley Ivey and Sylvester Stanley, Sr..
He is survived by: his wife Jackie Alexander Stanley; his daughters, Debra Stanley Barrett (Sammie Barrett) and Dianne Stanley (Andre McGowan); and his grandchildren, Malik McGowan and Maya McGowan. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and devoted friends.
