It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brice Dearmond Newell (Charlotte, North Carolina), who passed away on October 26, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, D. P. Newell and Cora Lee Newell; and his brother John Lee Newell. He is survived by: his wife Judy Martin Newell; his children, Martin DeArmond Newell and Gina Newell Fitts; his son-in-law John Fitts; his granddaughters, Peyton DeArmond Fitts and Eleanor Grace Fitts (Ella); his sister Terry Smith; his sister-in-law Christine Newell; and his pet Baxter.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Brice's honor can be made to the Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center Foundation, noting Harris Hospice Unit.
