We are sad to announce that on June 5, 2021, at the age of 64, Brodie Griffith Dowd of Charlotte, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife JoAnn S. Dowd; his parents, Gail Griffith Dowd and William Carey Dowd, III of Charlotte; and his grandparent Brodie S. Griffith. He is survived by: his children, Jessica Lauren Dowd (Chris Rogers) of Rockwell, NC and Parker Griffith Dowd (Whitney K. Dowd) of Belmont, NC.; his grandchildren, Oliver Dowd, Hadley Dowd and Marin Dowd of Belmont, NC.; his siblings, Eloise Dowd Miller, William Carey Dowd, IV (Charlotte Dowd) of Charlotte and Melissa Ann Dowd (Curtis Seltzer) of Blue Grass, VA; his sister-in-law Mary B. Dowd of Charlotte; his nieces, Jennifer Dowd Gomes (Ashook Vangal) of Charlotte, Katherine Dowd Butcher (Matthew Butcher) of Greenville, NC and Mary Rebecca "Molly" Wilkinson Seltzer of San Francisco, CA; his nephew William Christenbury "Chris" Dowd of Charlotte; and his friend Sarah Ellison. He is also survived by many cousins, a great-niece, and a great-nephew.
