He was predeceased by : his mother Bessie Aileen Hall Morrison; his child Patta Punch-Bullis (Daryl); his wife Betty Jane Boswell Morrison; his daughter Patricia Morrison Punch-Bullis; and his siblings, Roy, Harold, Gene, Fritz and Betty Ruth.

He is survived by : his father Edward Preston Morrison; his children, Brenda Perdue (Ed), Rodger Morrison (Brenda), Tim Morrison (Denise) and Randy Morrison (Deborah); and his siblings, Willene Morrison Gardner and Robert Brooks Morrison. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two step great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sardis Presbyterian Church, 6100 Sardis Road, Charlotte, NC 28270.
