Tommy Evans and Susan Evans; his granddaughter La'Kera Evans; his brother Eddie Roosevelt, Jr. (Carolyn); his sisters-in-law, Saundra Evans, Helen Dewberry, Katherine Steele, Frances McCoy and Mary Burch; his aunts, Listeria Lewis (Wilbert) and Mahalia Morrow; his great-aunt Virginia McLaurin; his uncles, Roy Gibson and Raymond Gibson; and also Kaz Shannon. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.
