She was predeceased by: her mother Trevolia Elizabeth Caldwell Patterson; her grandmother Daisy Wilson Caldwell; her stepfather Harvey Leon Patterson; and her brother Arthur Raymond Patterson. She is survived by: her husband Joshua; her children, Joshua Jr. and JaNelle Cortney Dial of Boiling Springs, SC; her grandchildren, Josephine Elizabeth Dial, Josiah James Dial and Joeanna Micah Tann-Funnye of Millersville, MD; her brother Calvin Foster Patterson (Anita) of Winston-Salem, NC; her uncle Luther Caldwell of Charlotte, NC; her aunts, Margie Caldwell of Virginia Beach, VA and Sarah Wright of Charlotte, NC; her cousin Patrina Derr of Virginia Beach, VA; her nephew Dwayne Arthur Patterson of Chicago, IL; and her close friend Elaine King of Charlotte, NC. She is also survived by her Mother, Grandmother, 7 uncles and 1 aunt.
