It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald James Knox of Charlotte, North Carolina, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on June 5, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Genevieve Knox and James Knox. He is survived by: his wife Janet Marie (Meagher); his children, Patricia Ann and Donald Thomas; his grandchildren, Carson, Madison, Kelley, Taryn, Catherine and Kellan; and his sister Bernadine Smith (Patrick Smith).

Any tears during his illness with Alzheimer's Disease could be overshadowed by Don's antics and jokes.
