It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doris Claire McGinnis of Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on September 21, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Rodarmel and Margaret Llewellyn Rodarmel; and her siblings, Ronald Rodarmel, Kenneth Rodarmel and MaryAnn Osborne.
She is survived by: her children, Anne Marie Sopp (Edward) of Greensboro, NC, Lawrence McGinnis (Cindy) of Mooresville, NC, Margaret Mary Price (John) of Belmont, NC and Eileen Saer (Henry) of Charlotte, NC. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
In light of her compassion for those suffering from mental health problems, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to NAMI Charlotte, 300 Hawthorne Lane, Charlotte, 28204.
