She was predeceased by: her husband Ben Echerd; her son Mark Echerd; her parents, Porter Troxler and Mamie Coble Troxler; and her siblings, Pearle Wyrick, Florine Kivett, Esta Wyrick, Paige Thompson, Garlan Troxler, Paul Troxler and Hoyle Troxler.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kay Naugle of Belmont and Jane Rappe (Randy) of Charlotte; her grandchildren, Andy Hedrick (Kelsey), Kelly Farrow (Kevin), Sarah Edgemon (Andy), Jessica Canaan (Logan) and Chase Rappe; and her great grandchildren, Olsen Hedrick and Luke Edgemon.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in her memory to The Billy Graham Library or Samaritan's Purse.
