He was predeceased by: his parents, Bertie Holland and Edgar E. Wright Sr. Ed; his wife Linda Miller Wright; and his siblings, Robert Evans Wright, Sr., Kathryn Wright Nichols, Elizabeth Wright Kiser and Nancy Wright Hook.

He is survived by: his sons, Alan Wright (Sara) and Edgar Evans Wright III (Virginia); and his grandchildren, Evan, Libby, Amanda, Amber, Zachary, Joshua and Andrew.
