She was predeceased by: her parents, Morris Kosches and Lena Leff Kosches. She is survived by: her husband Donald Avedon; her children, Roy Avedon (Patti) of Bluffton, SC and Marcia Avedon (Charles Farrar) of Mooresville, NC; her grandchildren, Monica Farrar Miller (Garret), Alden Farrar, Mitchell Avedon and Spencer Avedon; her great grandchild Grayson Miller; and her sister Janet Winegarden (Joel) of Hunt Valley, MD..

Due to Covid restrictions, a limited attendance funeral services will be held at 1:30 pm on Monday January 18th at the Hebrew Cemetery in Charlotte, North Carolina.
