With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Edward Brittain Stokes (Charlotte, North Carolina), who passed away on August 21, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Brittain and Mary Elizabeth. He is survived by: his significant other Rosanna Stokes (Williamson); his children, Ian Stokes (Marianne) of Raleigh, NC and Anna Stokes (Jeremy Leonard) of Brooklyn, NY; his grandchildren, Britt Stokes, Natalie Stokes and Julien Leonard; and his siblings, Bill Stokes (Beth) and Linda Sloan (Ed). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
