With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elaine Frances Kerr of Charlotte, North Carolina, born in Morristown, New Jersey, who passed away on May 13, 2023 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

During the Covid pandemic, she led a local effort to make masks for hospital workers, even sewing with one hand after falling during one of her deliveries. And she never stopped baking, and giving away her treats—or most of them anyway.

Her family therefore asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made in Elaine's honor to the Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Association, http://www.4hcm.org.
