She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Hovis and Lara Hovis; and her sisters-in-law, Bonnie Stephenson of Mullins, SC and Carolyn Allen Lehto of Manning, SC. She is also survived by several cousins, nephews, and one niece.

Memorials can be made in her honor to Steele Creek Presbyterian Church at Pleasant Hills located in Charlotte, NC. Honor Elizabeth Lehto Hovis's memory by donating to a cause they cared about.
