She was predeceased by: her parents, Mable T. Gaither and Charles H. Kelly; and her spouse Bynom Nicholas, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Kim N. Porter-Lumpkin and Burnadette N. Johnson; her grandchildren, Adrian Nicholas, Sr. of Charlotte, NC, Robert Porter, II (Elloree) of Charlotte, NC, Sarah Posey of Charlotte, NC, Arian and Omar Lumpkin of Great Falls, SC; her brother Reginald Boyd, Sr. of Charlotte, NC; and her siblings-in-law, Helen N. Griffin of Katy, TX, C. "Tina" N. Evans (Michael) of Stafford, TX and Marvin Nicholas (Arita) of Houston, TX. She is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, Godchildren, cousins and friends.
