She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Stephens and Mary Stephens; her husband Joseph Phillips; and her daughter-in-law Sharon. She is survived by: her sons, Frank (Patti), Steve, Perry (Kathy) and Russell (Lisa). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Oak Grove U.M.C. James Funeral Home of Huntersville is serving the family.
