We are sad to announce that on January 14, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Elvie Hipps Sloope of Charlotte, North Carolina, born in Kannapolis, North Carolina. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Hipps and Sarah Beaver Hipps; and her husband Perry Sloope. She is survived by: her sons, Alan Sloope, Kim Sloope (Linda), David Sloope and Jeffrey Sloope; her grandchildren, Jamie Honeycutt (Cliff), Jennifer Sloope, Megan Singleton (Cody) and Evan Sloope; and her great grandchildren, Alston Honeycutt, Colson Honeycutt and Brookelynn Honeycutt.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be sent to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 1900.
