He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elvin Maxwell Cook, Sr. and Helen Long Cook; his grandfather Odell Long; his wife Angie Hatcher Cook; his siblings, Darlene Tucker (Mitch) of Waxhaw, Teresa Baker (Russ) of Charlotte and Kenny Cook (Pam) of Charlotte; his daughters, Shena Avant (Wes) of Charlotte and Christy Scott (Chad) of Mount Holly; his stepsons, Jason Haggins (Emily) of Gastonia and Chris Haggins of Mount Holly; his granddaughters, Haley, Hannah Avant, Emma Scott, Lauren, Lilly, Audrey and Ava Haggins; and his great grandchildren, Wyatt, Maggie and Hazel Gail.
