It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn J. Knight (Charlotte, North Carolina), born in Bethel, North Carolina, who passed away on December 6, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her mother Johnnie Mae Jones; and her husband Henry Knight. She is survived by: her children, Rosslyn Crandell (Bobby) of Charlotte, NC, Kitty Pope of Atlanta, GA, Henry Knight (Polly) of Raleigh, NC, Cheryl Knight and Sherwin "Zeke" Jones (Gwen) of Savannah, GA.; and her sister Dorothy Moultrie (O'Neal) of Germantown, MD.. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and twenty great-grandchildren.
