It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Forrest Eugene Nelson (Charlotte, North Carolina), born in Nashville, Tennessee, who passed away on August 24, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Oscar Nelson and Dorothy Nelson; his daughter Dottie; his wife Mary Jo Beaty; his stepchildren, David Beaty, Susan Jordan, Bonnie Griffin and Tom Beaty; his children, Nancy Belding and Richard Boone; his grandchildren, Kelly Jo, Forrest, Jake, Laura and Emily; and his great grandchildren, Cameron, Samantha and Alexandria.
In remembrance of Forrest Eugene Nelson, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to Myers Park United Methodist Church or The American Heart Association.
