It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Herring Shipman (Charlotte, North Carolina), born in Dillon, South Carolina, who passed away on May 23, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Annie Mae Tolar and Walter Lee Herring, Sr.; and her husband Lewis Franklin Shipman. She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Charlotte Humane Society.
