She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Lester Thompson and Rita Pelletier Thompson. She is survived by: her husband Ernest Sykes; and her children, Judy Warner of Albemarle, NC and Ernest Eugene Sykes of Holden Beach, NC. She is also survived by four grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson. 5 sisters and 3 brothers.
