He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Charlie Sexton Dale and Lessie Mae Glenn Dale; his wife Jo Ellis Dale; his children, David Dale, Jr. (MA) and Jane Dale Bishop (Tom) of Charlotte; his grandchildren, Adam Dale (Ashley) of Atlanta and Josie Bishop of Charlotte; his brother Harold (Lucy); his sisters-in-law, Lucille Dale and Sharon Dale; and his grandson Frank David Dale, III. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
