He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred R. Clippard, Sr. and Noveda Randall Clippard; his sons, Bryan Clippard and Kent Clippard; and his sister Thelma Bradshaw.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Carpenter Clippard; his daughter Joy Clippard Seger (Karl); his siblings, Anne Spargo (Bob), Barbara Clippard, Clara Keener (Marvin) and Eural D. Clippard (Priscilla); his grandchildren, Wesley Clippard, Grant Seger, Hope Seger, Clarke Seger, Faith Seger, Jane Seger, Wade Seger and Jed Seger; and his mother-in-law Beatrice Carpenter. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
