He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Fred Smith and Olive Smith; his wife Marita Irene Smith (Rundberg); his daughters, Denise Pope (Randy) of Matthews, Diane Myers (Gene) of Indian Trail and Janet Holland (Mal) of San Diego; his grandchildren, Melanie Harris, Brian Myers (Tammy), Katherine Harris, Nathan Smith and Tyler Smith; his great grandchildren, Atreyu, Brayson, Lily and Aiden; and his son Curtis Edward Smith.
