He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Geta Juanita and Charles Hunter of Mooresville, NC.; his wife Virginia Imogene Harmon Hunter; his sons, Gary Norman Hunter, Jr. and Michael Eric Hunter; and his siblings-in-law, Faye Hagler and Jim Hagler. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews and extended family.
