He was predeceased by: his parents, George Kelly (Moore) and Virginia Yopp Moore. He is survived by: his wife Sue Perry Deaton Moore; his sister Virginia Moore Sexton (Dennis) of St. Petersburg, FL; his children, Sunny Moore Tillman (Hal) of Birmingham, AL and Kelly Moore (Meg) of Mooresville, NC; and his grandchildren, Perry Tillman (Leigh), Grace Tillman Williams (Harris) of Birmingham, AL, Patrick Moore of Lexington, KY, Hunter Moore and Will Moore of Mooresville, NC. He is also survived by three great-granddaughters and one great-grandson.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Dilworth United Methodist Church (605 East Blvd, Charlotte, NC 28203).
