He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George W. Sistrunk Sr. and Nell Katherine Sistrunk; his daughter Jean Tinsley; his stepsisters, Mary Harrison and Martha McLaughlin; his wife Janet; his children, George W. Sistrunk III (Tricia), Kathy Bellamy and Linda Sistrunk; his brother Dr. Frank Sistrunk; his grandchildren, Garrett Sistrunk, Luke Sistrunk, Eliza Sistrunk, Lisa Olin, Bobby Bellamy, Bill Tinsley Jr. and Carol Haynes; and his nieces and nephews, Lauralee Norman, Marla McLauglin, Paulette Lipscomb, Joann Flynt, Betsy McDonald, Teresa Herman, Ryan Haddix and Kevin Haddix. He was also cherished by numerous great-grandchildren, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
