She is survived by: her son David Smith; her nephews, Willie Gill (Mary) of Charlotte, Charles Gill (Brenda) of Charlotte and Robert Gill (Regina) of Charlotte; her niece Genise Smith-Watkins (Billy) of Charlotte; her cousins, Mattie Kluttz and Gertrude Parler of Charlotte; and her close friend Augusta Edwards. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and special friends.
