He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Willyard and Alice Willyard. He is survived by: his stepchildren, Joe Helms (Julianna) of Ft and Jenna Tench (Tom) of Clyde, NC.; and his siblings, Paul Alan Willyard of Pawleys Island, S. C. and Judy Allison of Ft. Myers Fl. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers. Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church Charlotte.
