She was predeceased by : her parents, Sholom Rubinstein and Bess Rubinstein; and her brother Michael Rubinstein. She is survived by : her husband Bruce King; her children, Sarah Silva (Rob) and Seth King (Nicole); her sister Jill Slavin (Doug); her nieces, Kady Slavin (Peter) and Devorah Richards (Stephen); her great-niece Summer Slavin; her great-nephews, Max Slavin and James Cartwright; and her grandchildren, Leah, Daniel and Benjamin. She is also survived by her family, friends.

A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hebrew Cemetery (1801 Statesville Ave, Charlotte, NC 28206).
