Horace Wayne Rogers Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 13, 2021, at the age of 79, Horace Wayne Rogers (Charlotte, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Gibson Rogers and Zemora Prince Rogers Atkins; and his brothers, Kenny and Bartley. He is survived by: his wife Becky; his daughters, Jessica Rogers (Kash Law), Leigh Rogers (Brian Dayton) and Robin Rogers Dawkins; his son-in-law Darrin; his grandchildren, Joshua, Kristen Dawkins, Ashley, Eric England, Alyssa Clinton and Kevin Spagna; his great grandchildren, Matthew, Killian, Pyper England and Marleigh Spagna; and his mother-in-law Mary Powell Spires. He is also survived by several sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, and a myriad of cherished nieces and nephews.
A service to celebrate Wayne's life will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, April 18, 2021 in the chapel of McEwen Funeral Service - Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Rd. The service will be Covid safe with masks and social distancing.
