With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ingrid S. Dinsmore of Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on May 2, 2021 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman and Marilynn (Carlson). She is survived by: her husband Bob of Charlotte, NC; her children, Jennifer Ryan (Trey) of Raleigh, NC and Dr. Jason Dinsmore (Justyna Wolak-Dinsmore) of Durham, NC; her grandsons, Jacob and Joseph Dinsmore; her nieces and nephews, Kathy of Chesapeake, VA, Britt Skogstad, Lisa Skogstad (Scott McLaughlin) of Milwaukee, WI, Leif Skogstad (Sarah) and Dr. Sigrid Luther (David Luther) of Chattanooga, TN; and her children-in-law, Trey and Justyna. She is also survived by her children and grandsons.
When the pandemic arrived, it made in-person family visits impossible, but she got creative about how to stay connected with her family.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to the charity of your choice in her name.
