He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Henderson Clark Sr. (Pete) and Sarah Farr Clark. He is survived by: his former wife LaMae; his wife Thelma Layton Clark; his children, Donna Looney (Larry) of Troy, Alabama, Tammi Cooper (Tom) of Clover, Mike Morgan (Carolyn) of York, Lee Ann Bagwell (Larry) of Troutman and Amy Moore (Delbert) of Monroe; his grandchildren, Torrin Harris, Lynda Stossel, Ryan Galloway, Jeremy Morgan, Devin Bagwell, Brooke Phifer (Bagwell), Ansley Bagwell and Adam Moore; his siblings-in-law, Craig Jackson, Sonya Barnes and Sabrina Yonkers; and his nieces and nephews, Josh Jackson, Stephanie Smith (Jimmy), Jennifer Hill (James), Joseph Layton (Addie), Jacob and Micah Jackson.
