It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irma Lorraine Gill of Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on May 23, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Crowell and Veda Snow Crowell; and her husband John Davis Gill. She is survived by: her daughters, JoAnn Lynn Smith (Thomas Alfred Smith) and Pamela Jean Gill; her grandchildren, Tyler Davis Smith and Rebecca Lynn Smith; her brother Earl Crowell (Moira Crowell); her nephews, Kenneth (Lily), Douglas and Alan; her sister-in-law Ellen Thompson; her daughter Karen Kindley (Phil Kindley); her grandchildren, Lori and Michael; her brothers-in-law, Douglas Gill, David Gill (Ann) and Jimmy Low (Lois Low); and her nieces and nephews, Kiersten and Bonnie. She is also survived by loving mother and grandmother by her children and grandchildren.
