He was predeceased by: his parents, George Lee Dye and Blanche Halsey Dye of Charlotte, NC.; his wife Vernell G. Dye; and his siblings, Tommy Halsey, Delores Dye Gary and Georgia Dye Mason.
He is survived by: his brothers, Charles Dye (Deborah) of Charlotte, NC and William Dye of Charlotte, NC; and also, DheOhmei, Larry and Kendall Foxx. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
