It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Edward Dupont (Charlotte, North Carolina), born in Kinderhook, New York, who passed away on February 11, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry DuPont and Elena Decker DuPont; and his brother Robert DuPont. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Dupont; his children, Kim Ritchie (Tad) and Jim J. DuPont; his sister Marilyn Finn; and his stepchildren, Melanie Swan (Andrew) and Stephen Pigg. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19 concerns, the family will have a private graveside service on Monday, February 22, 2021 and a Celebration of Life Service at a later date.
